For more than 10 years the leadership of Spencerville Adventist Academy and the Spencerville Adventist Church explored the possibilities of relocating and enlarging the school facilities. Much discussion went into deciding the best method of educating our young people as well as how we might serve our community better.
Phase one of a three-phase long range plan for the church and school was launched three years ago. This allowed the purchase of 31-acres on Route 198 just one half mile from the current school location. Two new rooms were added onto the church facility for the earliteen and youth and plans were set to expand the parking lot surrounding the church. The financial goal for phase one was met within 18 months.
The capital campaign for phase two began in earnest in June 2005. Phase two is entirely centered on building a new school facility for Spencerville Adventist Academy. This school will offer grades K-12 and accommodate 400 students. The facility includes not only classrooms, but an auditorium, gymnasium, multipurpose room, library, computer lab, as well as art and music facilities.
It is the goal of this phase of the capital campaign to raise $5 million in cash or pledges by December 31, 2005. This will allow us to aggressively move forward in acquiring the proper permits. It is our goal to open the doors of this facility by August 2007. In order for this to happen, the building must begin by the spring of 2006.

Many of our financial transactions are completed online. From shopping to paying bills to managing investments, it can all be done online these days. We can now add to this list the ability to make tithe and offering contributions. You may treasure the tradition of writing a check and filling out a tithe envelope and of course contributions can continue to be made in the same way as always but this simply adds 21st century capability to the Biblical practice of stewardship. In the future we will create an icon to link to this service. Meanwhile, you may click here
to be taken to the website where your contributions can be made.
